A fresh approach to healthcare
Precision Corporate Healthcare offers health insurance benefits, cash benefits and dental benefits all in the one Scheme. Traditionally these were separate products - combining them into one provides a tailored and flexible healthcare package.
An extensive range of benefits enables you to create a healthcare Scheme that's tailored to your company's budget and your business requirements.
Whether designing your Scheme from scratch, or transferring from another insurer, we aim to be able to match your objectives and requirements as closely as possible so you have precisely what you want and need.
Helping you to build your cover
Precision Corporate Healthcare allows single or multiple categories of cover and we will work with you to create a group scheme that fits your company's needs.
1. Choose your 'base' cover
Health insurance, cash benefits or a mixture of the two. Health insurance offers peace of mind in the event of an illness or injury. Cash Plans offer a lower cost option that complement the NHS by providing cashback towards everyday healthcare costs.
2. Add Optional Extras
For example, mental health treatment, out-patient benefits and Cash Plan benefits can be added to health insurance; health screening, GP charges and NHS car parking can be added to a Cash Plan or health insurance.
3. Add Health & Wellbeing
An Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) can be added, together with a Structured Counselling option if required. Additionally, there is a LifeStage Health option with a range of benefits that provide support at each of life's natural stages.
4. Manage your premium
Manage your premium with the various options available such as Shared Responsibility (co-payment), Excess and Group Deductible.
A Remote GP Services benefit
Employees within the Scheme may have access to a remote GP. They can use this service as often as they want, and speak to a GP for as long as they need. Even better, the service extends to immediate family members who live with them.
Value with a Group Deductible
WPA's Group Deductible is an intelligent way to fund your company's health insurance Scheme. It will reduce your costs but not your benefits with no additional risk. Deductibles are widely used in many types of insurance and we are proud to pioneer our Group Deductible in the company paid health insurance market.
30% covers the first 30% of claims received ("the deductible").
70% pays for the insurance premium.
By choosing to pay your premium in this way, you reduce the overall cost to your company. This guaranteed saving enables you to use your money more efficiently. What's more, in the event that claims are less than the 30% deductible, you get the difference back as a rebate.
Market-leading management information
Until now, it's been difficult to understand how often staff use their healthcare benefits. Health insurers haven't always been willing to share data, making it difficult for companies to understand the value of their benefits. Precision Analytics changes this - it has revolutionised the way in which collectively, we are able to interrogate and view your Scheme data.
You can now benefit from a level of transparency and clarity unheard of in the insurance industry.
Available via your WPA Relationship Manager, Precision Analytics gives you insight into how your Scheme is being used, what is driving premium increases and, ultimately, allows you to model your Scheme to best fit your business needs.

Employer FAQs
Once the Company Scheme is set up, you can manage administrative changes, including adding or removing members, via your WPA secure online portal.
Alternatively, you can contact us and we will be delighted to assist you.
For private medical insurance (PMI) claims for Specialist or hospital treatment or for Mental Health claims: The Company Scheme member will need to let us know in advance of receiving treatment. This pre-authorisation can be done 24/7 via the WPA Health App or by contacting the WPA Customer Service Team.
They can self-refer to a Therapist or Specialist, without the need to see a GP, for a short course of eligible treatment if the condition is not related to Mental Health. However, as above this requires them to contact us in advance of receiving treatment.
For cash benefit claims: If a Company Scheme member is looking to claim money back on their everyday healthcare expenses under one of the various Cash Benefit options selected (e.g. optical, dental or for health screens) then they can sign in to their secure online account and follow the on-screen instructions or use the WPA Health App.
Yes, PCH is a hybrid product that will not only allow you to mix and match different benefit levels, but also the different benefit options. Each employee can have different options and levels of cover allowing you to offer a uniquely tailored benefit structure that reflects your company's requirements.
If you want the option to add the family members of your employees to the Company Scheme, you can do so and they can also have different options and levels of cover.

No. All your medical information is confidential and although we provide detail about the Company Scheme's performance this doesn't reconcile down to an individual identifiable level, so we won't tell your employer anything about what you are claiming for.
We believe access to the best hospital for diagnosis or treatment of your condition should be a clinical choice, not a commercial decision driven by a health insurer.
With us, you have access to over 1,000 hospitals, clinics and scanning centres across the UK - including large private hospital groups, independent private hospitals and clinics and private wings of NHS hospitals.
Depending on the cover chosen for you by your employer, some members may not have access to our Premium Hospitals. Please check your level of benefit if you are unsure.
What isn't covered?

Fertility problems, pregnancy and childbirth (except the limited cash benefit for childbirth under the New Baby benefit if included and limited cash benefit for fertility, pregnancy, coil insertion and hormone implant under LifeStage Health if this Option has been included).
Neonatal treatment

The Supplementary Benefit option provides cash benefit for use towards excluded conditions e.g. pre-existing conditions, menopause, pregnancy, allergies or long-term conditions. We will pay for consultations and tests, scans and therapies under this benefit.
