WPA's HealthcareFinder, in partnership with Doctify, is now live!

WPA believe finding the right healthcare provider should be made by the individual, based on what matters most to them. To better support members with information on the options available, they have introduced a new HealthcareFinder, powered by Doctify.
HealthcareFinder is an online platform that enables members to find and compare the WPA registered consultants near them; in many cases members will be able to see their availability and book an appointment.
WPA apply Customary and Reasonable fee limits to procedures and the HealthcareFinder highlights those consultants that are Fee Agreed. The HealthcareFinder also highlights consultants that practice out of Premium Hospitals, which are available on some WPA products.
Members can search by symptom, condition, speciality, or by hospital to find the consultants that practice near them. Through consultants' profiles they can access information on their areas of expertise, treatments they offer and verified reviews left by other patients, to help them decide who is best for them.
Additionally, the claims authorisation process has been simplified and sped up. Members no longer need to provide the name of a healthcare provider to get their initial claim authorised. They can now choose to use HealthcareFinder at the point of authorisation or at any time afterwards - giving them greater flexibility and a faster, more seamless experience when making a claim.
WPA members will be able to access the HealthcareFinder whichever way they choose to make their claim, online via MyWPA, via the WPA Health app or by calling us. They will not need to provide an update on who they have chosen to see if they have used the online bookings facility, as the HealthcareFinder will automatically update their claim, so they can focus on their treatment.
