This marks the first-ever review of the Private Medical Insurance (PMI) industry by Which?, which also included data from Aviva, AXA, BUPA, SAGA, and Vitality customers. WPA stands out as the sole company who reached their 'recommended' status in the survey, published at the end of August.
The scores reflect high customer satisfaction and the likelihood of customers recommending their provider. WPA excels with an impressive Claims Score of 82%, surpassing the industry average of 72%. Similarly, WPA leads with a Customer Score of 74% compared to the industry's average of 64%.
In the customer evaluation, WPA excelled in various categories, including:
- Clarity of terms and conditions
- Ease of contact
- Clarity of written communication
- How well the coverage aligns with customer needs
- The availability of hospitals
- Choice of medical professionals
- Value for money
