Employer FAQs
Once the company scheme is set up, you can manage administrative changes, including adding or removing members, via your WPA secure online portal.

For an Essential claim, your employee will need to get a referral from their GP and then give us a call to pre-authorise their claim. We'll take it from there.
If your employee is looking to claim money back on their everyday healthcare expenses under Cash Extras Wellness or Dental, they just need to sign in to their secure online account and follow the on-screen instructions.
If requested, they will need to send us the completed form and associated receipts within six months of the eligible treatment date.
Yes, this company scheme is very flexible. Each employee can have different options and levels of cover.

If you want to add family members of your employees to the company scheme, they can also have different options and levels of cover.
Yes. For each employee, up to 5 children can be included on their company scheme membership. We charge for the eldest child, but any subsequent children are added free of charge.
Children must be living at the same address as their parent unless they are living away for full time education.
Children may remain part of the company scheme until they marry or move out of the family home. Please note additional charges apply for such children over the age of 25 ('Over-Aged Dependants').
Premiums can only be recouped for family members, not your employees.
There is no maximum joining age, but all members must be a current company employee or a family member.
Yes, if a member leaves the company scheme part way through the year, we'll make a pro-rata refund to you provided they have not made any claims.

For Cash Extras Wellness and Dental, once you've received healthcare treatment, please pay your provider's bill in full. Then make a claim within 6 months of the treatment date. To make a claim, sign in to your secure online account and follow the on-screen instructions. We'll pay all eligible claims directly into your bank account and send you confirmation by SMS text.
Use your secure online account to keep track of your claims. You can also see any invoices we've received, and exchange messages with us securely.
No. All your medical information is confidential, and we won't tell your employer anything about your claims.
We believe access to the best hospital for diagnosis or treatment of your condition should be a clinical choice, not a commercial decision driven by a health insurer.
With us, you have access to over 1,000 hospitals, clinics and scanning centres across the UK - including large private hospital groups, independent private hospitals and clinics and private wings of NHS hospitals.
It's your health, so you should be able to choose the best hospital for you.
Yes, as long as they hold a licence to practise; their name appears on the current General Medical Council Specialist Register, and they are certified as a Specialist by the appropriate college or regulatory Specialist body.
In addition, we must recognise your chosen Specialist.
