Customer Support Officer (CSO)

Starting salary is a minimum of £24,912, rising to £26,089 post probation. Full-time or flexible working patterns to match your personal circumstances.
Permanent roles based in Taunton, Somerset, close to J25 of the M5.

The role

These roles help support our customers in their times of need including registering a claim and helping customers to find the right medical professional so they can access the best possible treatment – essentially delivering a service you are proud of. You will be surrounded by a great team enabling you to thrive and really make a difference to others.

Within WPA we have various departments to capture all aspects of our customers needs. These include:

· Customer Helpdesk – the first point of contact for customer queries via the telephone, WhatsApp and Live chat.

· Onboarding – looking after our customers within their first month on cover and applications.

· Customer Relations – responsible for administration and support for existing business.

· Claim Inventory – assessing claim eligibility through reviewing cases and processing invoices.

· Customer Resolutions – including dealing with complex escalated queries and training.

Any successful candidates shall be allocated a department depending on previous experience and vacancies. Although roles may differ slightly, candidates must be competent and confident in a high volumes of calls for all departments.

Our office opening hours are Monday – Friday 08:00 – 19:00 and Saturdays 09:00 – 12:00 and you could work a variety of shifts within these times. (Evenings and Saturdays are fairly split amongst the team).
