The role

WPA’s continued strategic focus on sales and growth puts a spotlight on Business Development. The Corporate Business Development team is looking for two new consultants to join us at this exciting time. The purpose of this role is to pro-actively support the Business Development Division to secure new business in accordance with WPA’s risk appetite. This will be achieved via two key aspects. The first entails carrying out core departmental functions, such as checking applications, producing quotations, managing departmental mailboxes, and undertaking new business follow-up calls. The second is to promote WPA’s brand, products and processes to Intermediaries (Healthcare Partners, Brokers and Strategic Partners such as St James’s Place) – training and supporting them to maximise their new business output. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wishes to start a new career working in Business Development, with excellent training and development opportunities.

The hours are predominantly Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5pm and 9am until 5pm on Friday. However the nature of the role means there may be the requirement to work outside these core hours.
