An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Major Corporate Division (MCD) who are looking for a Business Development Consultant. MCD is responsible for our Global Brand and Major Enterprise customers, including many of Britain's largest and most well known companies. As a Business Development Consultant, you will:

  • assist with growing our business by establishing strong relationships with Employee Benefit Consultants (EBC's) and potential new customers;
  • develop and maintain an excellent understanding of WPA products, pricing and processes so that potential new customers have trust and confidence in the information that they are presented with;
  • be responsible for the quotation process, including producing and issuing quotes;
  • write high quality responses to tender requests for potential new business;
  • assist with the preparation of pitches for new business as required and deliver professional presentations;
  • maintain an awareness and understanding of market practices and competitor products.

You should have the ability to work using your own initiative as well as working effectively in a team in order to meet targets and deadlines, show sound judgement and problem solving skills, have excellent communication skills and be confident in attending new business pitches representing WPA in a professional manner. You should also be willing to travel within the UK.
