An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Major Corporate Division (MCD) who are looking for a Business Development Consultant. MCD is responsible for our Global Brand and Major Enterprise customers, including many of Britain's largest and most well known companies. As a Business Development Consultant, you will:

  • assist with growing our business by establishing strong relationships with Employee Benefit Consultants (EBC's) and potential new customers;
  • develop and maintain an excellent understanding of WPA products, pricing and processes so that potential new customers have trust and confidence in the information that they are presented with;
  • be responsible for the quotation process, including producing and issuing quotes;
  • write high quality responses to tender requests for potential new business;
  • assist with the preparation of pitches for new business as required and deliver professional presentations;
  • maintain an awareness and understanding of market practices and competitor products.

What can you bring to WPA?

We are keen to hear from you if you have a proven track record of building rapport and relationships with customers, ideally in the area of developing new business. You should have the ability to work using your own initiative as well as working effectively in a team in order to meet targets and deadlines, show sound judgement and problem solving skills, have excellent communication skills and be confident in attending new business pitches representing WPA in a professional manner. You should also be willing to travel within the UK.
