Broker Account Executive

Starting salary range is circa £29,500 and a non-contractual bonus is also available. Full time, 37 hours per week.
Based in Taunton, Somerset, close to J25 of the M5.

The role

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our Business Development (BD) Team. We believe in developing people’s strengths at WPA so your existing skills and experience will be developed, should you decide to apply (which we hope you do!). The purpose of this role is to support an Account Manager in proactively building and maintaining relationships with Intermediaries (insurance brokers) in order to promote and secure new business for WPA.

You will assist with new business quotations including follow-ups, the onboarding of new customers, assisting with training and support, providing advice to prospective customers and Intermediaries in relation to WPA products and processes.

You should have the ability to work using your own initiative as well as working effectively in a team to meet deadlines, manage your own time and priorities, show sound judgement and problem-solving skills.

The BD Broker Account Executive role requires you to be comfortable with working with numbers and to take an analytical approach when preparing and proposing new business quotations.
