puts you in control of choosing the right dental plan for your needs.

General dental treatment Routine dental treatment with your dentist or hygienist in general practice, including examinations, x-rays, scale and polish, fillings, root canal treatment, crowns, bridges and dentures. A 30 day qualifying period applies for check-ups and hygienist and general dental treatment. A 90 day qualifying period applies for restorative treatment.

Dental emergencies (UK or abroad) Incidents of acute pain, swelling or a dental haemorrhage requiring an emergency dental appointment, whether treated by a private or NHS dentist. £250 per episode up to the maximum limits shown. A 14 day qualifying period applies.
75% of costs up to £500 - maximum 2 episodes
75% of costs up to £1,000 - maximum 4 episodes
Dental injuries
Restorative dental treatment where the injury to the teeth has been caused by an external blow to the teeth, face or jaw (extra oral impact). Hospital and out-patient treatment under the care of a Specialist, up to the maximum limits shown. A 14 day qualifying period applies on both levels of cover.

Restorative treatment as a direct result of oral cancer In-patient, day-patient and out-patient treatment under the care of a recognised specialist for restorative treatment required as a direct result of oral cancer, including a maximum of 2 dental implants per policy year. Up to the maximum limits shown. A 90 day deferment period applies on both levels of cover.
