Our Vision

WPA Benevolent Foundation

The Foundation likes to support three to six year projects, working with communities and special-interest groups who share our hopes and ambitions. Longer-term partnerships - best practice in supporting good causes - ensure that we are able to work from the inception of a ´good idea´ through to maturity.

The Trustees of the WPA Benevolent Foundation direct the work of the Foundation and decide which good causes it will support. At the current time we are actively involved in a number of projects where examples of our work include: creating outdoor activity spaces in Somerset schools, supporting the Cadet Bands in Bristol and Somerset; the Helford River Children´s Sailing Trust in Cornwall; helping to expand Scouting membership in Devon and Somerset; reducing the waiting list for Girlguiding in Gloucestershire whilst continuing to support the WPA Charitable Foundation.

The Benevolent Foundation is the Corporate Trustee of the WPA Charitable Foundation, that supports families in financial distress with profoundly ill children and other related projects promoting the good health of children.
