£30-35k based upon skill and experience. Permanent role based in Taunton, Somerset, close to J25 of the M5.
Full Time, Monday to Friday working a shift pattern between 8am and 5pm.

A rare opportunity has arisen within our Information Technology (IT) Operations Team, who are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join the team. The IT Operations Team are responsible for the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all WPA’s innovative award-winning systems.

As a Technical Support Engineer you will:

  • Provide technical IT support to all areas of WPA’s business;
  • Undertake project work to successfully deliver new applications, features and hardware;
  • Work with the existing team to support and maintain WPA’s business systems.

What can you bring to WPA?

We are keen to hear from you if you have excellent organisation skills, are an effective communicator and have technical experience of administering enterprise software including Client operating systems (Windows 10), Windows Server 2016/2019, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint etc), Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, MCCM, and networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, IP Addressing.

If you can demonstrate that you have knowledge of current desktop support concepts, have cloud administration experience and that you have technical professional qualifications that would be advantageous.
