Corporate Providental - What is not covered?

FSA Keyfacts

The benefit table on What is covered? shows how much you can claim, but as with all insurance policies there are certain things that you are not covered for. Please click here if you wish to view the full Guide to your Plan.

It is important to note the following:

  • General Dental Treatment can only be claimed after the first 3 months from the day the plan starts (known as a qualifying period).
  • There is a 14-day qualifying period before Dental Emergencies cover commences.
  • General Dental Treatment and Dental Emergencies are not included for anyone under the age of 18, as children under this age are entitled to receive free treatment under the NHS.
  • Benefit is available for the removal of wisdom teeth, if undertaken at general practice.
  • Treatment outside of the UK is only covered under the Dental Emergency benefit.
  • Deliberate self-inflicted injuries
  • Treatment relating to periodontal disease is not covered under the Dental Injury or Defined Oral Problems benefits.
  • Care and/or treatment arising or related to taking part in winter sports (e.g. skiing, snowboarding), scuba diving and motorsports, or engaging in professional sport.
