mycancerdrugs - A thoughtful new form of NHS top-up insurance

Many cancer drugs are denied on the NHS even though they have been proven effective. This may be because they await approval by NICE or NICE has deemed them not ´cost effective´. mycancerdrugs is an inexpensive policy that gives you access to advanced cancer drugs licensed but not available on the NHS.

There is a £50,000 life benefit for advanced cancer drugs for each person covered. The annual premium is the same as your age plus Insurance Premium Tax @5% though smokers pay double. Children can be covered on an adult´s policy and the annual premium for people aged 21 or under is £21 + tax. Please note there is a maximum age of 65 years. WPA is a not for profit Provident Association. In order to ensure we provide the highest cover for the lowest premiums for the majority of people, some eligibility conditions apply.
