How to make a claim
Find out how to make a claim on your WPA policy

Claiming after an accident

Strictly speaking, your health insurance policy with us does not cover any costs which you can recover through a personal injury claim. We will still pay your eligible claims under your medical insurance policy in the normal way but what we pay is rather like a loan, which you must repay when you receive compensation for your personal injury. If you do not receive any compensation you will not have to pay us back.

We will ask you to keep certain conditions these are as follows:

  • You must try to recover your medical expenses by making them part of your personal injury claim
  • You must promise to repay us any medical expenses you recover
  • If you are made any offer to settle your claim, and that offer falls short of the full amount you are claiming, you must not accept this offer without asking us first.

Legal help and advice

You may already have a solicitor who can advise you. If not, you can obtain free advice without any obligation from specialist solicitors. They will be pleased to discuss the circumstances with you, to explain your rights.
