We have a strong culture of treating customers fairly. As part of our commitment to managing conduct risks, the Legal and Compliance Team is looking for a Deputy Compliance Manager.
This position involves supporting the General Manager, Risk and Compliance in establishing and maintaining the regulatory landscape at WPA. You will need to have a good awareness of our regulators´ requirements (ICO, FCA and the PRA), and be able to interpret their published rules and guidance to provide concise, pragmatic advice to managers and our Appointed Representatives.
You will ideally also have a good understanding of financial crime risks, and of related legislation around Fraud, Bribery, Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Competitive Behaviour.
The role also involves carrying out compliance checks against the procedures in our Compliance Manual. You must therefore be an excellent communicator who has good attention to detail and can produce clear and concise reports for our internal Compliance Monitoring Group.

These positions are primarily Monday to Friday, but some Saturday morning cover may be required on a rotational basis.
